We are seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our team in the vibrant hospitality sector in Newquay. This permanent, full time role is essential for ensuring a warm welcome for our guests and providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience and supporting the smooth operation of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Handle reservations and check in/check out processes efficiently.
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to guests.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient in using office software and telephone systems.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
