Job Description
Job Overview

We are currently seeking a full time Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive reception team at Foxhall House, Ipswich. The position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.

Responsibilities

When working on reception, you will be the first point of contact for service users, carers, visitors and professionals.

You will be expected to demonstrate effective teamwork skills and the ability to work independently. Tasks include:

  • Answering the phone and emails
  • Liaising directly with service users, clinicians and external agencies
  • Scanning and uploading information onto our electronic patient record - Lorenzo
  • Logging maintenance requests and other day to day operational tasks
  • Providing exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills

A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Outlook, will be essential. Knowledge of the trust system Lorenzo would be an advantage.

Person Specification
  • Experience
    • Use of ICT applications/packages
    • Experience of working in a busy reception/office environment; dealing efficiently and politely with both internal and external customers
  • Qualification
    • NVQ 2 Customer Service or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Knowledge
    • Knowledge of working in a clinical setting (if any)
  • Other
    • Able to travel independently
