Hays Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable Reception teacher to work at a Primary School in South Gloucestershire. The school is based in Patchway and has a mission to deliver a successful education to all children regardless of their background. They are looking for a teacher who is diverse in their teaching style which can be applied to any classroom of abilities.
Your new role
This BS34 school is looking for a part-time reception class teacher to start in Term 6 of this academic year on a long-term basis. This role will be 3 days a week, and you will be joining the Early Years team alongside other Teachers and Teaching Assistants. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering entertaining, high-quality teaching and learning experiences for your students. Your responsibilities will consist of planning and delivering engaging lessons within the reception curriculum, creating a safe and welcoming classroom and supporting each child's development as they enter their first year of primary education.
What you'll need to succeed

- Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE)
- Experience within the last 5 years
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
