Reception Teacher - Full-Time - Gateshead (EYFS Focus)

We are recruiting a full-time Reception Teacher for a supportive primary school in Gateshead. This is an exciting opportunity within Teaching jobs in Gateshead for someone who thrives in EYFS.

About the role:

You'll be leading a Reception class, supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant and a strong early years team.

Your responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Supporting early phonics, communication, and social development
• Creating a safe and stimulating environment
• Building strong relationships with pupils and parents
• Monitoring progress and supporting individual development

What we're looking for:

• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• A nurturing and creative teaching approach
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Passion for early childhood development

Working hours:

• Full-time
• 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Term-time only
