Job Description
Recent or New Graduate Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for a recent or just qualified Veterinary graduate to join our fantastic team at Broom Cottage Veterinary surgery in Wilmslow, Cheshire. You would be working alongside 2 senior vets, who are both experienced in supporting the VET GDP programme plus 1 of the senior vets is a certificate holder in Cardiology.

The Role: Working 35.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday at Broom Cottage, with weekend and bank holiday working at Beech House Veterinary Centre (RCVS Hospital status). This could vary in the future where you may work Saturdays at a branch surgery. It includes a 1:4 Saturday (annually accrued into your FT hours), 1:12 Sunday and supporting on the bank holiday rota. Sundays are given back as TOIL. Your time at the practice will be split between consults and surgery, and there will be some sole-charge responsibilities.

About You: You will be a recent or just qualified graduate with current exposure of working within a small animal practice who is keen to develop their initial skills. Confident with sole charge responsibilities, and eager to complete your VET GDP.
