Senior / Principal Associate - Real Estate Litigation

We are delighted to be working with our client, a highly regarded Top 50 UK law firm, on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Litigation Senior Associate or Principal Associate to join its market-leading national practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded property litigator looking to take the next step in their career within a high-performing, nationally recognised team, working on complex and strategically important disputes for an impressive portfolio of clients.

The Role

You will advise a diverse client base across the retail, leisure, development, investment and public sectors, taking a leading role on a broad range of complex real estate disputes.

Your work will include:

  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Break notices and lease renewals
  • Dilapidations
  • Forfeiture and possession claims
  • Rent recovery
  • Service charge disputes
  • Land registration issues
  • Restrictive covenants
  • Rights to light disputes
  • Investment and development disputes
  • Property-related insolvency matters
  • Telecommunications and other specialist real estate litigation

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of significant matters, provide strategic and commercially focused advice to clients and play an important role in the continued growth of the practice.

Alongside your technical work, you will be encouraged to develop client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives, support junior colleagues and build your profile within the market.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Strong experience in real estate/property litigation
  • Experience handling complex and high-value disputes
  • Excellent technical ability and commercial judgement
  • A pragmatic, client-focused approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • An interest in business development and developing your market profile
  • The ambition to progress within a leading national practice
