Principal Associate/Legal Director - Real Estate - Leeds

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Principal Associate or Legal Director (8+ PQE) to join the Leeds Real Estate team of a leading national law firm.

This role is ideal for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Lawyer with a strong background in development and investment work, looking to join a growing, ambitious team with genuine progression opportunities.

The Role

You'll advise a broad range of developer, investor and funder clients on high-quality work across the full development lifecycle, including:

• Conditional land acquisitions
• Pre-let agreements
• Forward funding transactions
• Construction and development projects
• Acquisition and disposal of completed investments

The team acts on major projects across the industrial, logistics, office, retail and living sectors, working closely with specialist Planning, Construction, Banking, Tax and Environmental Lawyers to provide a full-service offering.

About You

You'll have:

• 8+ years' PQE in commercial real estate
• Strong experience in development and investment transactions
• A commercial approach and excellent technical ability
• Confidence managing complex matters and building client relationships
• The ambition to play a key role in the continued growth of a successful team
