A leading international law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Knowledge Lawyer to support its highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the team's knowledge strategy while remaining closely involved in complex and high-profile contentious property matters.
The TeamThe team advises a diverse client base including landlords, tenants, developers, investors, occupiers, financial institutions and professional advisers. It handles a broad range of contentious property matters, from lease renewals and dilapidations to development disputes, possession claims and property-related professional negligence issues. Renowned for its technical expertise and strategic approach, the team is regularly involved in complex and high-value disputes, offering exposure to some of the most interesting work in the market.
The RoleWorking closely with partners and fee earners, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the team's know-how resources, supporting technical legal queries and ensuring the team remains at the forefront of legal and market developments.
- Producing and maintaining precedents, guidance notes and know-how materials.
- Monitoring legal developments and translating them into practical advice and updates.
- Providing technical support on complex real estate disputes and procedural matters.
- Delivering internal and client training sessions.
- Supporting thought leadership, client-facing content and business development initiatives.
- Driving innovation through legal technology and AI-enabled knowledge management.
- UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Real Estate Disputes.
- Existing Knowledge Lawyer/PSL experience welcomed, although fee earners looking to move into a knowledge role will also be considered.
- Strong technical expertise across contentious property matters.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Collaborative and organised approach with a genuine interest in knowledge sharing and developing others.
