RE Teacher

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for either an ECT or experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality RE education and inspiring pupils to engage critically with ethical, moral and philosophical issues.

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK-recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching RE within a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
