Radiology Assistant Bank

Job summary

Radiology Assistant (Bank) - Warwickshire Hospital. Part time, up to £14 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Main duties of the job

• Assist with a range of radiological examinations across MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy.
• Support patients through their visit and prepare them for imaging.
• Maintain an efficient daily work list and overall patient workflow.
• Assist Radiographers and Radiologists in carrying out examinations.
• Handle service user queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems.
• Manage stock maintenance and ordering.

Qualifications & experience

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent health related subject or care certificate.
• Experience within a radiology department, with particular emphasis on MRI and ultrasound procedures.
• Experience in ANTT procedures.
• Cannulation training is desirable.
• Demonstrated caring, empathetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
