Radiographer Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Radiology NHS Fife.
We are looking to appoint a Radiography Assistant to join our friendly cross sectional team. The MRI/CT Service provides an extended 7 day service across two sites.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be providing clinical support for Radiologists and Radiographers ensuring the comfort and safety of patients undergoing MRI/CT.
The successful candidate must be a team player who is enthusiastic and can work flexible hours to include extended days and weekends. Previous cannulation and vital signs skills are desirable as this is an essential part of the role; however, training can be given.
Experience within a Radiology department and knowledge of the Radiology Information System would be advantageous although training will be given. Acute service provision requires a flexible approach to working patterns.
You should be able to travel and work efficiently and effectively in various work locations within NHS Fife, to meet the requirements of the service.
A commitment to public holiday rotas and extended working days/weekends to meet the needs of the service is essential.
Qualifications and RequirementsMember of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment.

Other InformationAs from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata. However, a corresponding increase in the hourly rate will maintain pay.
