Responsibilities

• Carry out all duties of a radiation therapist to provide an efficient and effective service to patients.
• Rotate through various areas of the radiotherapy department including treatment delivery, planning (incorporating CT/MRI simulation), contouring, and treatment planning.
• Schedule patients for procedures, collate patient information, and perform plan checking.
• Work within the network of 14 linear accelerators, 4 in each centre.

Qualifications

• CRNU registration.
• Have the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
• Demonstrate evidence of a good overview of the service and reporting structures within it.
• Demonstrate evidence based clinical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues.
