About the Role

Lead a multidisciplinary team of tax specialists, engineers, software programmers and scientists to deliver R&D tax relief and credit claims. Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliant and optimised claims, liaising with clients, colleagues and HMRC.

Key Responsibilities

• Line management of the team, driving their development and progression.
• Strategic direction of the team and contribution to marketing initiatives.
• Lead client meetings, build and maintain working relationships with colleagues and intermediaries.
• Oversee portfolio of claims, ensuring compliance with tax legislation and guidelines, meeting deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in R&D tax, including claim preparation and submission.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Understanding of HMRC guidance and relevant tax legislation.
