Quantity Surveyor

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, surveys and preparation of specifications whilst maintaining the required standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), specifications and tender documents.
Conduct cost analysis and evaluate project risks.
Manage procurement processes and negotiate with contractors/suppliers.
Monitor project budgets and prepare regular financial reports.
Assess and certify contractor valuations and variations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.
Prepare, negotiate and agree final accounts.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts (FIDIC, JCT etc.) and cost management
Proficient in AutoCAD
Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Hold a full UK Driving License and access to your own car
