Drylining Quantity Surveyor
About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in drylining and interior fit-out to join our commercial team. You will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of drylining packages on a range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This is a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on budget, with strong cost control and accurate reporting.

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in drylining and interior fit-out to join our commercial team. You will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of drylining packages on a range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This is a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on budget, with strong cost control and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial and contractual elements of drylining projects from inception to final account
- Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts
- Measure and value works in line with project specifications and drawings
- Assess subcontractor applications, variations, and payments
- Identify, evaluate, and manage risks and opportunities
- Work closely with project managers to support budget management and reporting
- Produce cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all commercial activities
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, with a strong focus on drylining/interior fit-out
- In-depth knowledge of drylining systems (SFS, MF ceilings, partitions, plastering, etc.)
- Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and commercial management software
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
- Full UK driving licence
