Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Leicester - Established Contractor - Multi-Sector - Hybrid Working

Your new company
Our client, an established and multi-accredited contractor operating across a multitude of different industries, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Leicester office with hybrid and flexible working.
Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans and forecasts

Conducting cost analysis and value engineering to ensure cost efficiency

Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering and contract administration

Monitoring project progress and preparing monthly valuations and cost reports

Assessing and valuing variations, change orders and claims

Liaising with project managers, engineers and clients to ensure commercial success

Supporting the preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:

Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar) or experience equivalent

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civil Engineering industry, ideally within the water and/or highways sectors

Strong working knowledge of NEC3 form of contract

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

Full UK driving licence.
