Job Description
We are working with a leading Irish Main Contractor who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent permanent opportunity to work on a strong pipeline of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Ireland. Role Overview You will play a key hands-on role in the commercial management of high-value civils and infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and project teams, you will be responsible for cost control, valuations, and financial reporting on technically demanding and large-scale schemes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit monthly valuations, applications for payment, and cost reports Measure, value, and negotiate variations and change orders Manage subcontractor accounts, including procurement, payments, and final accounts Assist with tendering, cost planning, and commercial bid support Track project costs, forecasting, and cashflow Maintain accurate commercial records and support claims preparation Work collaboratively with site teams to protect and improve project margins Requirements: 4 7 years post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor Solid background working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, utilities, enabling works, etc.) Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills Proficient in Excel and commercial management software What Our Client Offers: €60 - 80,000 Basic Relocation Allowance Car allowance Performance bonus scheme Pension and comprehensive benefits package Clear career development opportunities within a supportive and growing commercial team This is a great role for a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to advance their career with a reputable contractor delivering significant infrastructure projects in Ireland
