Quantity Surveyor - Highways

Overview

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Highways discipline. Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 + Benefits, depending on experience. We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with Highways industry experience to join our business. Due to continued growth we are seeking a self-motivated and highly organised QS to work as an ambassador to the business within our client's organisations. The successful candidate will work as part of our Highways division providing commercial support to our clients on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Multiple scheme commercial management
• Subcontractor management
• Mentoring of junior staff
• NEC Contract experience
• Change Management
• Budget Forecasting
• Pre & post tender contractual works
• Monthly valuations
• Undertake Material & Plant reconciliations
• Administration of Drawing Revisions & Site Records.
• Support the production of monthly CVR.
• Understanding of cash management.
• Communication with Site Team.

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications Essential

• Experience working in the Highway sector
• NEC Experience
• Must be computer literate
• Full Driving Licence
• Confident dealing with our stakeholders and our clients stakeholders
• Positive attitude towards growth, development and training within our business

• RICS but not essential
