Quantity Surveyor - Charleville, Co. Cork

Vickerstock are pleased to be partnering with a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for their team in Charleville, Co. Cork.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects.
• Preparing and submitting interim valuations, payment applications and final accounts.
• Monitoring project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts.
• Identifying variations, preparing cost assessments and managing change control.
• Reviewing contractual obligations and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to maintain commercial control.
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

What you will need

• A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
• Understanding of construction contracts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
• The ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors and clients.
