Job Description
A Quality /Technical Officer is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our North Cork based food production client. This is an exciting opportunity join a well-established business as they go through an expansion phase. Onsite role reporting to the Technical Manager.
ROLE- Review of raw material specs, questionnaires, risk assessments
- Export documentation applications - health & vet certs etc.
- Member of the NPI Team - liaising with NPD, commercial, supply chain production
- Document control review
- Assist in management of BRCGS & customer standard procedures and policies and documentation
- Completion of Customer Specifications
- Partake in customer complaint investigations
- Completion of Internal Audits
- Completion of Hygiene Audits
- Raw Material non-conformance investigations and sign off
- Monthly ATP swab review
- Complete Monthly Quality Review for Operations Meeting
- Customer technical/ quality query investigation and response
- Assist in Halal & Kosher applications & audits
- Assist in RSPO audit
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- Experience working in a food production environment.
- Knowledge of frozen product processing would be helpful
- Familiarity with BRC, HACCP, and retailer-specific food safety standards.
- Experience with retailer specification systems.
