ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading pharmaceutical company based in North West England is seeking a dedicated Quality Officer to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) will be highly valued. As a Quality Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance within the organisation.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Quality Officer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

2. Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they meet current regulatory requirements.

3. Manage and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.

4. Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Quality Officer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a scientific or related field.

2. Proven industry experience in a pharmaceutical environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
