Location: Portsmouth (PO3). Full-time Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a leading aerospace manufacturing organisation based in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high performing quality team supporting the delivery of safety critical products to global aerospace standards.

The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet stringent engineering and regulatory requirements. Working in a fast paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for inspecting components and assemblies at various stages of production, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect sub assemblies and finished products throughout the manufacturing lifecycle
• Verify components against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality criteria
• Use a range of inspection and measuring equipment to ensure conformity
• Support production teams to maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams within engineering and manufacturing

About You

• Proven experience in a quality inspection role within an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience using a variety of inspection and measurement tools
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, or CAA Part 21G standards
• Previous aerospace inspection experience
• Relevant engineering or quality qualifications (advantageous)

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15
• Friday: 07:30 - 16:00
• Every other Friday off
