Job Description
Quality Inspector

We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector with the following qualifications and responsibilities.

Professional Attributes
  • Perform First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections: Inspect products at initial, in-process, and final stages to ensure they meet specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements. Identify deviations and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor and Document Quality: Continuously monitor production to maintain quality and complete inspection check sheets. Document results and discrepancies for future reference.
  • Conduct CMM Testing: Use Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform precise dimensional testing. Address nonconformances promptly and ensure proper documentation of all test results.
  • Perform Dimensional and Functional Testing: Measure product dimensions and verify functionality against specifications. Record data in the SPC database and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Report and Document Nonconformances: Report product defects and quality issues, maintaining accurate records for traceability and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure Compliance with QMS and cGMP: Follow established Quality Management Systems (QMS) and cGMP regulations to maintain product quality and ensure legal and industry standards are met.
  • Assist in Audits: Support internal and external audits, ensuring product, documentation, and processes comply with both internal and regulatory standards.
  • Perform Sorting and Rework: Assist in sorting defective products and perform rework to ensure products meet quality standards before shipment.
  • Assist in Training Inspector Packers: Train and observe Inspector Packers to ensure proper inspection techniques and accuracy in their work.
  • Ensure Safety Devices Are Intact: Regularly verify that machine safety devices are functioning properly and report any malfunctions or tampering.
  • Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) is used and is in good condition.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to promote a team atmosphere in the department and in other production-based areas.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, self starter, and high initiative.

Salary: $18.00/hour (Based on education and experience)
