Quality Inspector

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established precision engineering business in their search for a Quality Inspector to work in the Wirral area

Job Details:

• Pay: £33,000 - £40,000 per annum including overtime
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 38-hour week with 8am-3pm core hours, remaining hours worked flexibly
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Company uniform, car parking, tunnel costs paid, standard pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Role:

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting precision engineered components using CMM machines. As a Quality Inspector, you will carry out first-off and final inspections, measure parts against engineering drawings and specifications, set and calibrate CMM equipment, and complete non-conformance and inspection reports. The Quality Inspector plays a key role in maintaining ISO9001 standards and ensuring all precision components meet strict quality requirements.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Proven CMM inspection experience
• Experience of working to ISO9001 standards
• Experience measuring precision engineered parts
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Quality inspection experience within an engineering environment
• Previous experience within a precision engineering company
