My client is forward thinking and modern engineering company who manufacture a range of niche machinery. Based just outside Dungannon they are seeking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer who has experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a brand new additional role so you can really put your own mark on it. Salary is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, pension, sick pay and flexible working hours.

Role - Quality Engineer

• Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and control systems.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and audits of materials, processes, and products.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Participate in new product development to ensure quality is built into design and manufacturing.
• Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) working towards applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.

Person - Quality Engineer

• Third level qualification in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
