Quality Engineer - Manufacturing

Location: Gloucestershire

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

We are working with a well established manufacturing business based in Gloucestershire who are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen their quality function.

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to play a key role in driving quality and continuous improvement across the site.

The Role:

As Quality Engineer, you will support day to day manufacturing operations while ensuring products, processes, and systems meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 or similar)
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
• Investigate internal and customer quality issuesSupport production and engineering teams with quality improvements
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits
• Manage non conformances and quality documentation
• Liaise with suppliers on quality related matters where required

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, RCA, etc.)
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001
• Confident communicator with a hands on approach
• Able to work cross functionally and drive continuous improvement
