Job Description
- Inspect and evaluate incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, including reports and records.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve production processes.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant quality regulations and standards.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responses.
- Train staff on quality procedures and best practices where required.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality systems and processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
- Experience in quality assurance within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- An understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
