Quality Engineer

Who we are looking for:

The purpose of this role is to champion quality across the business and to support the maintenance of Quality standards. Supporting the Quality Manager in driving improvement of product quality, the internal QMS, external accreditation, and internal processes, while reducing complaints.

What you'll do:

• Manage the Quality Management System supporting BS EN ISO 9001, IRIS, UL, and ATEX accreditations.
• Investigate customer and internal complaints and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Use structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D and 5 Why to drive continuous improvement.
• Support the Quality Manager in delivering quality assurance goals and standards.
• Manage and complete PPAPs and FAI's.
• Create control plans, procedures, and work instructions.
• Perform quality training across the company and monitor quality performance through KPIs.

What you bring:

• HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Desirable: IRIS, UL, and ATEX certifications.
• At least three years' experience in a quality engineering role or similar.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week, including a 20-minute paid break.

• Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm & Friday 6am - 1pm
