Quality Control Inspector

Near Ilfracombe, North Devon Up to £17 per hour DOE 4-Day Week Permanent

Acorn by Synergie is working with a respected and flexible local engineering business to recruit a Quality Control Inspector.

This permanent opportunity offers a 4-day working week consisting of four 10-hour day shifts, allowing you to enjoy a 3-day weekend every week. The company operates within the Aerospace and Medical sectors and prides itself on being a supportive, family-run business where you are valued as an individual.

• Carry out mechanical inspection of precision-engineered components.

• Perform in-process inspection activities.

• Support First Article Inspection processes (where applicable).

• Operate CMM equipment (desirable).

• Undertake general machine operation duties, including CNC where required.

• Ensure all products meet strict Aerospace and Medical quality standards.

• Proven mechanical inspection experience.

• Previous experience within Aerospace or Medical manufacturing (preferred).

• First Article Inspection knowledge (desirable).

• CMM experience (desirable).

• In-process inspection experience.

• General machine operation skills, CNC experience advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• £13-£17 per hour depending on skills and experience.

• 4-day working week (four 10-hour day shifts).
