Key Responsibilities

• Drive automation for end-to-end testing and improve automation pipelines for Video playback across various devices, including Smart TVs, Set-top boxes, and game consoles.
• Collaborate with teams to automate test cases for video technology features such as Ultra HD, Dolby Atmos, and low-latency live streaming.
• Contribute to performance testing, ensuring high-quality video playback experiences on diverse devices.
• Develop and implement tools and strategies to simulate real-world conditions (e.g., poor internet connection) and detect performance regressions.
• Participate in Agile development processes, working closely with other teams to ensure consistent, high-quality testing and timely releases.
• Investigate and troubleshoot failed tests, identify root causes, and contribute to solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong experience in automation and manual testing, with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Proven leadership as a QA lead on medium to large projects.
• Proficiency in Typescript and Python for code reading, writing, and debugging.
• Ability to create and develop interceptors to simulate test scenarios and effectively triage failed tests.
