Job Description
Social Worker - Adults Multi-Disciplinary Team

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Quality Assurance Case File Auditor to work full time based in Guernsey.

The salary for this Quality Assurance Case File Auditor job is up to £69,427 per annum.

  • Take on a case auditor role supporting with the service monthly collaborative audit and moderation programme as needed, performing deep dive and thematic audits as requested by the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Advise and support colleagues at all levels on how to undertake audits and other QA activities to a high-standard and on a regular basis.
  • Support the Service Manager for Safeguarding & QA in ensuring learning from audit and QA activities are used to inform development and changes in policy and procedures.
  • Provide detailed audit reports for sharing within the Practice Improvement Meetings & Governance meetings.
  • Participate in the overall development of operational staff within Children & Family Community Services as directed by the Service Manager, Safeguarding & Quality Assurance and other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Work in a collaborative manner with our multi-agency partners and the islands safeguarding children's partnership to support QA activities that provide a broad insight into how well we work together in supporting and keeping children safe in the Bailiwick.
  • Collate information around audit findings and statistical data across the service and prepare reports of findings to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Report monthly to the Children & Family Community Services Central Governance Forum on practice and quality-assurance issues as required.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly Quality Assurance Governance meetings and Practice Improvement Meetings.
  • Promote staff awareness of agreed professional standards and protocols of practice.
  • Maintain specialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and practices.
  • Support key staff in implementing and managing change of new initiatives.
  • Be conversant with and adhere to the Social Work England Code of Practice and local policies including the States of Guernsey Performance & Quality Assurance Framework.
  • Maintain current skills and knowledge by attending required training updates in accordance with SW England, Health & Social Care & Children & Family Community Services operational policies & guidance.
  • Other activities commensurate with this Job Description may from time to time be undertaken by the post holder.

Requirements of this Quality Assurance Case File Auditor:

  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration.
