Role Definition

The successful candidate would be monitoring the quality and specification of our premium quality lamb products before packing. You will be working as part of a team to support production in ensuring the required food safety standards by carrying out checks like temperature and metal detection. The role will involve recording data accurately and reporting non-conformances to the Technical Management as well as any food safety and quality issues. You will play an active role during our customer audits.

• The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to follow detailed operating procedures with a high degree of attention to detail. The candidate will follow instructions including those relating to personal health and safety and the wearing of PPE
• Can do attitude with good communication skills and a basic understanding of verbal and written English
• You will need to be self-motivated with a positive outlook
• Previous experience within a similar role and having a working knowledge within the meat industry and animal welfare would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given

45 hours per week Monday to Friday 6.00am to 4.00pm dependent on production finish times. This includes 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks.
