Quality Assurance - North West England - £25-35k basic

Overview

One of the key players within the industry in which it operates is looking for a new addition to their quality department. Our client invents, develops, designs and manufactures tailor made packaging solutions to several key markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lean manufacturing and supply chain operations focused company which prides itself on delivering high quality products on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead the investigation of production quality issues, ensuring no delay to product output due to quality.
• Continuously improve quality processes to enhance product and service.

Qualifications

• Quality engineer with experience working in a manufacturing environment, able to read product drawings.
• Knowledge of key quality tools such as Fishbone diagram, 5 why, SPC, capability studies, Pareto analysis, auditing and understanding of ISO9001.
• Logical thinker who can think outside the box, initiating and implementing solutions to reduce waste and repeat complaints.

Eligibility

Applicants must be resident in the United Kingdom and have recently worked or currently work in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
