North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT) is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Administrator to join our Quality and Patient Safety Team within Women and Children's Health Services.
The role involves working in collaboration with colleagues to support service improvements within Gynaecology, Maternity and Neonatal Services. This role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious candidate, who is keen to make a difference to the patient safety agenda within the organisation.
Main duties of the jobThe Quality and Patient Safety Team Administrator will be responsible for providing administration and clerical support for staff and managers in all aspects of quality and patient safety within the Division.

Job responsibilities- Act as an Administrator within the Women and Children's Continuous Improvement and Learning Team and other specialist midwifery teams at North Bristol NHS Trust.
- Support the Division's governance meetings.
- Help support internal systems, processes and activities in the service.
- Provide administration support to Senior Leads and other staff within the Continuous Improvement and Learning Team.
- Report to the Continuous Learning and Improvement Support Manager.
- Provide direct support to the service objective of driving assurance and governance activity across the Division.
- Support work on the core areas of responsibility for the Service.
- GCSE grade A-C/grade 4 or above or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience of working in a hospital environment.
- Experience in a PA or secretarial role providing a full spectrum of administrative and office management duties.
- Experience of organising, handling and inputting large volumes of data and producing basic reports and summaries.
- Experience of using Hospital Information Systems.
- Minute taking skills.
- Good basic administrative knowledge.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Canva.
- Prioritising own workload, resolving conflicting diary appointments.
