Job Description

As a Quality and Compliance Officer your role will include auditing, monitoring and evaluating quality systems and procedures as well as providing technical support for the operations teams. You will maintain and promote technical and quality standards in line with business needs and requirements.

Reporting to:

Quality and Compliance Manager

Main responsibilities
  • Support internal audit quality systems programs
  • Evaluate production processes and competency for compliance
  • Lead 3rd party audits and manage any non-compliances raised
  • Effectively analyse data to identify areas of weakness or non-compliance and utilise continuous improvement techniques
  • Support the Quality and Compliance Manager with any issues relating to product quality, including customer complaints, rejections, or withdrawals
Our ideal candidate will have the following
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • Knowledge of customer requirements and quality specifications
  • Good planning skills, organisational and communication skills
  • Anticipate problems and be proactive with regards to solving them
  • React to issues and sort relevant from irrelevant
  • Analytical - ability to interpret, understand and explain data
  • Computer literate with ability to use Microsoft packages
  • Knowledge and experience of BRCGS and HACCP requirements
