Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Learning Disabilities to join our dynamic team in Cambridgeshire. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive rate of £38 per hour and the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. As a QSW, you will play a crucial role in assessing needs, developing care plans, and providing support to enhance the quality of life for your clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to identify their needs and strengths.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing personalized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their families, ensuring they have access to appropriate resources and services.
  • Advocating for the rights and interests of clients, promoting independence and inclusion within the community.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and interventions in accordance with regulatory standards.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
