Job Description
Role Overview 
Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 or above) - Based with our under twos. This permanent role at the Nene Valley Day Nursery, Northampton (NN1 5BD), offers 24-40 hours per week with full and part-time options. Salary £27,289.60 - £30,929.60 per annum (pro-rata). Working pattern is 07:00-18:30.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, engaging learning activities that promote development through play.
- Act as a Key Person, observe, assess and record children's progress in line with EYFS.
- Advocate safeguarding, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and supported.
- Collaborate with children, parents and colleagues, building strong and positive relationships.
- DfE approved early years qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working as a Key Person.
- Effective communication, team-working and safeguarding skills.
- Right to work in the UK. Applicants must live within a commutable distance of the nursery. VISA sponsorship is not available.
- £27,289.60 - £30,929.60 per annum salary (pro-rata) - £13.12-£14.87 per hour.
