Qualified Nursery Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Nursery Assistant to join a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Reading on a full-time, long-term basis. Hourly pay rate of £15.17. The successful candidate will hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and have at least one year's experience working within a nursery or early years setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily care, learning and development of children.
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities.
• Build positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
• Observe and record children's progress while ensuring all safeguarding and nursery policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (recognised).
• At least one year of experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Passion for working with children.
