Qualified Assessor - Health and Social CareLocation: Cardiff (Hybrid)Contract: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £25,200 - £26,780 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 16:30

The RoleAs a Qualified Assessor, you'll support learners through their Health and Social Care apprenticeships, delivering structured guidance and workplace assessments. You'll play a key role in shaping learner journeys, ensuring they gain the skills and confidence to succeed in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored support and assessments to learners across South Wales
  • Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
  • Evaluate workplace evidence against qualification standards
  • Maintain accurate learner records and ensure audit compliance
  • Support learners with additional training needs and in-house sessions
  • Track learner progress and contribute to performance targets

About YouYou'll be an experienced assessor with a background in Health and Social Care, confident in delivering apprenticeship programmes and engaging with learners in a workplace setting.

Essential Criteria

  • Recognised assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
  • Occupational experience in Health and Social Care
  • Experience supporting apprenticeships
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to undergo DBS and EWC registration (costs covered)
  • Welsh language skills are desirable
