Job Description

QTS Design & Technology Teacher - Full Time

Pay: £600 - £1200 per week (dependent on experience).

Assignment Details

This is a full-time, workshop-based DT role. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons
  • Marking and assessment
  • Attending and contributing to parents' evening
  • Maintaining excellent behaviour and safety standards within the workshop

The school is looking for a confident and experienced DT specialist who can drive progress and inspire students across KS3 and KS4.

As a Successful Qualified Teacher, You Will Need to:
  • Hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Design & Technology
  • Be confident managing a workshop environment
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be proactive, enthusiastic, and ambitious
  • Be able to commute to Burton upon Trent and surrounding areas
