Job Title: QTS Computer Science Teacher - Part Time (4 Days per Week)

Fixed Term: September 2026 - July 2027

Location: South West London

Pay: Pay to Scale

Choice Teachers are delighted to be supporting a fantastic secondary school in South West London with the recruitment of a qualified Computer Science Teacher for a long term position starting in September 2026 and running until the end of the academic year in July 2027.

Working Pattern

This part time role works Monday to Thursday, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to join a supportive school and make a genuine impact throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging Computer Science lessons
• Marking and assessment
• Attending parents' evenings
• Participating in departmental and whole school meetings
• Monitoring student progress
• Completing reports and other teaching responsibilities as required

Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential
• Have experience teaching Computer Sceince within a secondary school setting
• Be confident delivering lessons across the curriculum
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress
• Have a positive, professional, and proactive approach

Important Information

• Start Date: September 2026
• End Date: July 2027 (end of the academic year)
• Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday
• This is a long term temporary position
• The successful candidate will be paid directly through Choice Teachers and not by the school
• Applicants must be comfortable with and understand this arrangement before applying
