We are seeking a QHSE Coordinator for a well-established company that specialises in manufacturing and engineering solutions. The company offer a 39-hour working week, flexible start and finish times, and a fantastic benefits package.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a 39-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times. The role is fully site-based, with no hybrid working option.

As QHSE Coordinator, you will work closely with the QHSE Manager to maintain and improve the company's Integrated Management System and uphold compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. This is a varied and practical role ideal for someone keen to develop their career in QHSE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of ISO standards.
  • Assisting in incident investigations and report compilation.
  • Participating in audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Maintaining accurate records for training, inspections, maintenance, and incidents.
  • Supporting toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions.
  • Analysing and compiling QHSE metrics and performance data.
  • Preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Maintaining and reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Promoting a proactive safety culture across the organisation.
  • Staying up to date with relevant legislation.
  • Supporting inductions and deputise for the QHSE Manager when required.
  • Assisting with fire marshal duties and carbon reduction initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

  • IOSH Managing Safely.
  • Experience with QHSE management systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Experience in fabrication, welding, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
  • First Aid and/or Fire Warden training.
  • Auditor training (beneficial but not essential).
