QHES Manager

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a QHES Manager for our client, a growing print and packaging business based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality or Compliance professional to take ownership of the quality function, with a strong focus on BRCGS, environmental compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality and Compliance function and manage a team of four.
• Own BRCGS certification, preparation and external audits.
• Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, FSE and PEFC requirements.
• Lead internal audits, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production and operational teams to maintain high quality and compliance standards.
• Monitor KPIs and provide quality and compliance reporting to senior management.

Requirements

• Proven experience within a Quality, Compliance, QHES, QHSE or similar role.
• Strong experience leading and delivering BRCGS audits is essential.
• Experience within manufacturing, packaging, food, print or a similar regulated environment.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and ISO 14001.
• Knowledge of FSE and PEFC requirements.
• Previous experience managing or mentoring a quality team.
• Strong audit, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
• Relevant qualification in Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety or Compliance is desirable.
