We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Technician to be based at our brand-new, state-of-the-art, manufacturing site in Basingstoke.

As Quality Control Technician, you will inspect manufactured and purchased products in accordance with company drawings & specifications.
Key duties and responsibilities:- Metrology inspection of purchased and manufactured products in accordance with Drawings, processes, internal documentation and any other requirements.
- Inspecting components using QC preprogrammed equipment - CMM and VMM
- Supporting NPD with parts/products requiring inspection and reports.
- Liaising with the relevant technical authority on any technical issue.
- Supporting MRB Reviews when necessary.
- Supporting CAPA investigations, internally & externally as and when required.
- Performing and/or supporting Gauge R&R or MSA reviews in line with company requirements.
- Supporting calibration when necessary.
- Supporting both Internal & External audits.
As Quality Control Technician, you will have the following:
Key skills and experience:- HNC or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
- Trained and experienced in the use of CMM and VMM
- Experience in machining and milling, ideally within the medical or aerospace sector
- Familiar with GD&T and confident in a variety of metrology equipment ranging from a micrometre to CMM/VMM
- Ability to read drawings and determine the method of inspection.
- Ability to write Inspection Reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
