About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team. The QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring our software and systems meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role requires a strong eye for detail, a passion for technology, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Perform thorough testing to identify bugs and ensure system functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects in the tracking system.
  • Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing.
  • Participate in review meetings to provide insights on product quality and test progress.
  • Ensure compliance with established QA processes, standards, and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Key Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with various testing types (e.g., functional, regression, performance, user acceptance).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in testing web applications, APIs, and mobile apps.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Above it says needed and here it is preferred
  • Certification in QA or testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is advantageous.
