QA Engineer 2

Job Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality of site processes in Receiving Inspection in compliance with Dexcom procedures. This position supports Dexcom's growth trajectory by ensuring essential, life changing products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Receiving Inspection Department by evaluating inspection methods, process improvements, sampling plans, and coordination of first article component and fixture inspections.
• Select and qualify inspection equipment.
• Work with Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers to develop and implement inspection methods, sampling plans and related procedures.
• Plan, manage and prioritize tasks/projects, track progress and provide periodic updates to management.
• Handle OOS events, CAPAs, NCMRs and Change Orders; establish and maintain communication with key stakeholders, report findings, investigate and dispose of issues, and manage the corrective action process.
• Conduct gap assessments, recommend updates and drive documentation revisions for new regulations or QMS standards.
• Support ongoing QMS improvement and maintenance to enhance operational efficiency, compliance and product quality.
• Assist external inspections by regulatory bodies and notified parties and ensure audit findings are addressed and closed.
• Prepare quality system documentation and records for internal and external audits/inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAPA, Non Conformance and problem solving tools.
• Preferred experience working in receiving inspection.
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications (e.g., Excel, MiniTab or similar).
• Strong critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.

Education

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 2-5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of equivalent experience.
