QA Engineer - SaaS Scale-up - Birmingham (Hybrid) - Up to £55K

We are hiring for a QA Engineer to join a growing SaaS scale-up that is building modern, customer-focused software at pace.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves ensuring quality at every stage of the development lifecycle and wants to work with a passionate, high-performing engineering team.

In this role, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to make sure everything we ship is reliable, secure, and delivers a great experience for our users.

You will have ownership of testing strategies and play a key part in improving test automation and overall product quality.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement test plans for web applications and APIs
• Build and maintain automated tests using Cypress and Jest
• Test API endpoints and workflows using Postman and similar tools
• Work with developers using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate on release processes and contribute to CI/CD improvements

Tech stack includes:

• Cypress, Jest, Postman
• React.js, TypeScript, modern JavaScript
• CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and agile workflows

What we're looking for:

• Experience working in a QA or test engineering role in a product-focused environment
• Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks, ideally with Cypress and Jest
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
• A good eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences
• Comfortable working closely with developers and product teams in an agile setup
