Python/PySpark Developer - this is a long-term contract opportunity to join our Zurich based client in the financial services sector. The role will involve developing the Azure Data Lake in Python to implement business services.

Your tasks:

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications
• Python and PySpark coding
• Design and build business services
• Ensure a high level of test automation

Your experience/knowledge:

• Strong software engineering experience - Ideally Python and PySpark
• Proficient in Spark based data lake & extended services like Azure Databricks
• Experience in designing and implementing reliable and scalable software
• Language skills: English

Your soft skills:

• Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
• A high degree of self-organisation and time management
• Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
