Must Have Government Experience

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Python and/or Node.js

• Proven experience using Django, Flask, or FastAPI

• Strong knowledge of REST and/or GraphQL API design

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Strong understanding of secure coding principles

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Bicep)

• Strong experience deploying APIs to Azure App Service

• Experience with Azure Entra ID, managed identities, and Back End authentication

• Experience using Azure Key Vault

• Experience with Azure SQL or PostgreSQL

• Experience instrumenting applications with Application Insights

• Strong unit and integration testing experience

• Experience working with open-source software

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with Docker and container platforms

• Experience with Azure Functions, Container Apps, or AKS

• Experience with Azure Service Bus

• Experience configuring Azure RBAC

• Experience with performance and load testing

• Experience with Log Analytics and KQL

• Experience configuring alerts and metrics

• Awareness of GDS Service Standard

• Awareness of WCAG 2.2 accessibility requirements
