Purchasing Manager (Mandarin or Cantonese Speaking, £40k, Food Retail, London)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Manager role for a food retail company based in London. The company is a leading retailer of oriental foods in the UK and is recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Manager to assist with organisational goals of multiple stores located around London.

• Strong communication and negotiating skills are required to work with individuals of various levels and backgrounds.
• Ability to operate under pressure.
• Chinese language proficiency is essential.
• Capability to develop good connections with both internal and external suppliers.
• Analytical abilities, numeracy, and attention to detail are exceptional.
• Extremely well organized and self motivated.
• Flexible to work in different shifts.
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office) and moderate Excel abilities are required.
• Sage expertise is desirable.
• Experience in FMCG and a buying setting in the food business is preferred.
